As a reminder, SDRR has 3 categories of membership*:

HR Professional: All members of SDRR are included in this category. All SDRR members have access to our main forums for General HR Discussion, Recruiters Forum, HR Networking, and industry specific forums for Biotech/Pharma, High Tech, Healthcare and Financial. All SDRR members also have access to roundtable@sdrecruiters.com listserv.

HR Executive: In addition to the HR Professional membership, members with 10 years or more experience in HR who are currently in a Director, VP or Top HR Executive role may also request access to our HR Executive forum and listserv. Our HR Executive forum is an additional resource where Senior HR Professionals can network and discuss sensitive or executive level topics in a private format. HR Executives will also have a private listserv, hrexecutives@sdrecruiters.com . Special Approval and employment verification is required.

HR Consultant: In addition to the HR Professional membership, members who are currently consultants or contract HR Professionals, charging on an hourly or project basis, may also request access to our HR Consultants forum. Our HR Consultant forum will be an online community of HR Consultants where we can share job leads, set up networking meetings, and discuss consulting specific topics. HR Consultants will also have a private listserv, hrconsultants@sdrecruiters.com . Special Approval and employment verification is required.

 Our resume database is filling up and now has almost 2000 searchable resumes, and candidates and San Diego job seekers are coming to www.sdrecruiters.com and applying directly to our more than 90 job openings. Members can post jobs either for internal member search only, or elect to post them on our public searchable job site in our Career Center. We track the EEO data as shared by our applicants to help our HR Members encourage diversity recruiting and meet their Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity goals. We will begin reporting EEO data with March data at the end of the month.

 The email traffic is also starting to pick up again on the listserv, but it is very exciting to see our networking forums begin to get traction. There are some members with interesting questions who are looking for feedback. Hot topics this week have been around cell phone policies, blogging for candidates, and internet resume sourcing tools. Be sure and visit the forums as often as you can so that we can give our colleagues timely responses.
