Upon registration, you will be asked to register for membership as an HR Executive, HR Consultant, or HR Professional.
HR Professional: All members of SDRR are included in this category. All SDRR members have access to our main forums for General HR Discussion, Recruiters Forum, HR Networking, and industry specific forums for Biotech/Pharma, High Tech, Healthcare and Financial. All SDRR members also have access to roundtable@sdrecruiters.com listserv.
HR Executive: In addition to the HR Professional membership, members with 10 years or more experience in HR who are currently in a Director, VP or Top HR Executive role may also request access to our HR Executive forum and listserv. Our HR Executive forum is an additional resource where Senior HR Professionals can network and discuss sensitive or executive level topics in a private format. HR Executives will also have a private listserv, hrexecutives@sdrecruiters.com. Special Approval and employment verification is required.
HR Consultant: In addition to the HR Professional membership, members who are currently consultants or contract HR Professionals, charging on an hourly or project basis, may also request access to our HR Consultants forum. Our HR Consultant forum will be an online community of HR Consultants where we can share job leads, set up networking meetings, and discuss consulting specific topics. HR Consultants will also have a private listserv, hrconsultants@sdrecruiters.com. Special Approval and employment verification is required.
You can ask the group questions either via the email listserv or on one of our targeted web forums. Web forums are found in the member area and are topic specific. To send an email to the group, please send it to roundtable@sdrecruiters.com. Be sure your subject line clearly and concisely relays the topic of your email.
Feel free to use the email list and forums to share HR Related information or ask any HR or recruiting-related networking question. We allow and encourage any topic related to Human Resources including, but not limited to, resume referrals, job referrals, recruiting sources, employee relations issues, general HR topics and vendor referrals or vendor references.
NOTE: Vendor referrals and vendor references are defined as a solicited response to a member's direct inquiry for suggestions or referrals to a particular type of vendor or service provider, or member inquiries for other members to provide reference or experience information about specific vendors. We also allow members to post or forward relevant HR related job leads for non-members, only for positions in Human Resources for the benefit of our membership base.
Please do not use the email list or web forums for solicitations, to promote vendors, or to discuss non-HR related issues. See our Membership Guidelines and Conditions and our Requirements for Registration for more specific information.
Candidates, Members, and Non-Members can post resumes to our Resume Database any time at NO CHARGE by clicking on the Post your Resume link on our home page. Our Resume Database is powered by SmartSearch Online software, and is searchable by our targeted membership of HR Professionals.
Members can post jobs to the website and search our Resume Database from the Career Center. Our Career Center's Resume Database and job posting capabilities are powered by SmartSearch Online. SmartSearch Online is a product of Advanced Personnel Systems, Inc. (APS), a leading Application Service Provider in the automated recruiting marketplace.
YES!! Please share any job leads. All SDRR members have the ability to post jobs. While HR related job postings are the most relative to our member community, any other positions may also be posted and will be visible to all candidates from the non-member area. Let's develop SDRR into a top notch targeted recruiting tool for San Diego together.

Joe is our featured attorney in our Ask Joe a Question page of the website located in the member area. Joe will answer member questions as he deems appropriate and will also lead our annual SDRR Legal Update event.
You can log into our member area and change your profile at any time by clicking on "update my profile". You can change your contact information, password, membership profile and email address all on your own at any time.
SDRR offers a document library in our member area where members can post documents to share for other members to access. Documents include such items as Exit Interviews, Performance Evaluations, Termination Checklists, Etc. These shared documents are provided by members only, and are not provided, created or endorsed by SDRR. Please review the Membership Guidelines and Conditions for more information regarding the responsibility and liability of information as provided by members in the document library.
NO!! You can simply opt to use the website and forums, and decide at anytime when you would like to participate on the email list. Since the email list requires another layer of security, those requests are still reviewed manually and may not be approved immediately. Please be patient during our review process.
